Cross-chain transfer efficiency is low, a problem that has plagued the crypto ecosystem for nearly a decade and remains unresolved to this day.
Just look at AVAX — even the high-speed public chains can get stuck when it comes to cross-chain asset transfers. Liquidity is fragmented across different chains, and users wanting to move assets between ecosystems face either long confirmation times or high bridging costs.
The core issue is simple: there is no universal routing layer to unify the interaction between EVM and non-EVM chains. As a result, ecosystems become fragmented, and opportunities are missed. Funds should be able to flow quickly to the most valuable places, rather than being locked on a single chain.
Until someone takes action to solve this problem. True liquidity should be borderless, and this is the future of crypto finance.

Honestly, this is just as disgusting as the exchange barriers in traditional finance, only with a different guise called "public chain fragmentation." The supply and demand curve has completely collapsed here.

It's been ten years and still not resolved, truly a huge pit. My cross-chain assets have been stuck on the bridge for half a day.

Ten years and still not resolved? These people are really giving up.
