BNB Ecosystem Defense Battle: YZi Labs refutes management rumors of abandoning the ecosystem in favor of shifting to Solana

【Blockchain Rhythm】On January 5th, YZi Labs Management Ltd. issued a public response regarding the company’s strategic direction. The company pointed out that the management has recently attempted to restrict shareholder rights through measures such as implementing a “poison pill” plan and amending the articles of association, aiming to hinder the progress of the written consent process. YZi Labs believes these actions exceed necessary legal boundaries and are clearly intended to consolidate internal control.

More importantly, YZi Labs directly criticized the management’s strategic wavering. The company refuted management’s statement that “they have never considered alternative token reserve plans,” and noted that CEO David Namdar explicitly stated at an industry conference in November 2025 that the company had evaluated the possibility of shifting to other cryptocurrencies such as Solana. This directly contradicts the official denial.

YZi Labs also pointed out that Namdar and board member Hans Thomas actively promoted and financed other digital asset reserve projects during their leadership, further raising doubts among shareholders about the commitment to the BNB ecosystem.

The company’s board of directors choosing to restrict shareholder rights rather than face the issues directly is interpreted as a sign of lack of confidence in their own decisions. Several shareholders have expressed concerns to YZi Labs about the company’s strategic adjustments and abandonment of the BNB ecosystem. This governance turmoil reflects deep-seated disagreements between the Web3 project management and investors regarding long-term ecosystem planning.

Hold on to your chips, don't be fooled by these internal conflict dramas; on-chain data is the real truth.

Good grief, this management team's tactics are really ruthless... They've even used poison pill plans. It seems the BNB ecosystem is indeed quite complicated. Brother David, do you even lie without a script? Clearly considering the Solana plan and still dare to lie blatantly... I've seen this trick many times. Shareholder rights are restricted to this extent, no wonder YZi had to publicly push back. If they hold it in any longer, there will be no chance left.

Management is playing this "poison pill plan"? It's really outrageous. What happened to the promised ecosystem development? Instead, they're thinking about harvesting profits and switching tracks... What is this CEO David thinking?

Management's move here is a classic act of cowardice. If you don't want to switch to Solana, just say so, no need to play these poison pill tactics... --- It's both internal conflicts and finger-pointing. What are the BNB ecosystem folks up to? --- Huh? David, the CEO, is just lying here. Did he never consider token reserves? What's with the poor memory? --- It seems YZi's issue has blown up, with quite fierce internal rifts. --- Restricting shareholder rights is really a brilliant move, afraid of being exposed, huh? --- Honestly, this plot is more ridiculous than a novel... --- They've even used a poison pill plan, which shows they're just cowardly. --- It's just about wanting to secretly switch to Solana, and now that it's exposed, they're still pretending.

Internal conflicts are so intense? The poison pill plan has been implemented, clearly someone wants to shake off shareholders and start anew.

Same old trick again, the poison pill plan? Ha, I saw this move back in 2018... and what happened? It was still cut in half. --- BNB ecosystem defense battle? Sounds impressive, but it's actually just a power struggle among executives exchanging slaps. --- Management says they haven't considered sol, and you believe that? My contrarian indicator tells me that in eight or nine out of ten cases, they've already placed an order. --- Escaping from BNB to sol, I give this move a negative score because it successfully caused me to cut my losses early. --- Bro, I've fought this kind of battle too many times, and the final loser is always retail investors. If you need to run, just run. --- Amending the articles of association to restrict shareholder rights? Isn't this just a clear message: we're about to do a reverse operation.
