Techub News Message, Bitcoin Core Project posted on X that Bitcoin Core 30.0 and 30.1 may, in very rare cases during the old wallet (BDB) migration process, delete all wallet files on the same node if not backed up, potentially leading to loss of funds. The fix will be included in Bitcoin Core 30.2, and it is not recommended to use 30.0 or 30.1 for old wallet migration before then. Aside from the migration process, other features are unaffected, and nodes and existing wallets can operate normally.
