Bitcoin goes global with leverage: Spot market dominance, beware of excessive speculation risks

Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】 Recently, the Bitcoin market has experienced a clear structural shift. Since breaking away from the deleveraging phase in December, the market has gradually entered a period of mild expansion — which is a very positive signal. The Z-Score turning positive has fully confirmed the rebound in market sentiment, but interestingly, the divergence phenomenon of the indicator reveals a deeper fact: this rally is mainly driven by the spot market’s strength, rather than leverage.

This situation is actually quite healthy. Why? Because the risk has significantly decreased. Think about it — without a large amount of leveraged funds speculating, the likelihood of chain reactions of liquidations is naturally much lower. The current price stability at this level is primarily driven by a very simple factor — the growth rate of open interest contracts is restrained, without explosive, crazy growth. This is the foundation for the market to sustain.

But the risk points must also be clearly understood. If the divergence indicator suddenly reverses to the positive zone without price support, that’s dangerous. It usually indicates that speculative positions have accumulated too much, and a correction could be fierce.

Spot trading is the main focus now. Have the leveraged traders finally calmed down? But those divergence indicators really need to be watched closely; a reversal in a second could trap you. I'm a bit worried.

Spot trading is doing well, but don't slack off on this divergence indicator. If it reverses, it will be very uncomfortable.

Whether spot trading is leading or not is just a signal; the key is whether institutions are really putting in real money.

Spot trading dominance is correct, but it's really hard to say how long this rebound can last.

Spot trading alone isn't interesting; the real highlight is waiting for the leveraged big players to return to the market.

Spot trading leading is good, at least no one gets liquidated. But I'm worried, once this divergence indicator breaks, oh my, it might crash straight through.

The idea that spot trading drives the market... is an old story. It still depends on whether you can hold on. Once there's divergence, it's game over.

Spot trading doesn't really make a difference; the real issue is when leverage will explode again...

Spot trading leading sounds good, but can we really trust these divergence indicators? Every time they say to be cautious, but the result still ends up a huge loss.
