Honestly, after so many years in the crypto world, I've seen enough stories to make a documentary—some people turn their lives around with a meme coin and buy a sea-view house, while others see big players get liquidated overnight. But today I want to talk not about luck or guaranteed rising coins, but about the pitfalls I've fallen into and the ways I've learned to survive.

First, let me share my most painful rule: as long as the market hasn't moved out of the K-line pattern I've repeatedly verified, I prefer to scroll through short videos rather than place trades. It sounds conservative, but behind it is a cost paid in blood. Fake signals in the crypto space are ridiculously common, especially during the day, when market manipulators can easily stir up the entire market with a single piece of news. I later realized that the market only truly stabilizes after 9 PM, and that's when the technical analysis becomes trustworthy. To put it another way—if you don't have a winning hand, don't force it; save your chips for a better hand.

Regarding timing, I also developed a "Night Owl Strategy." The biggest mistake beginners make is chasing gains and cutting losses during the day, only to get battered by transaction fees. My approach is to monitor the market for no more than half an hour during the day to get the overall direction, and do the real trading at night. Focus on the 4-hour chart to find support levels—this is much more effective than watching minute charts during the day. After institutions finish their meals and settle down, the true face of the price will reveal itself.

Speaking of taking profits, I have a friend who once made enough money to buy a Porsche, but out of greed, he didn't sell and half a month later, he lost everything and had to ride shared bikes home. Since then, I changed my rules: when I make $1,000, I immediately transfer $300 to my bank account, and treat the rest as play money. This isn't conservatism; it's the best way to survive in the rollercoaster market of crypto. Real profit is about securing your gains—ultimately, the numbers on the screen are just illusions.

Those who can survive to the end in the crypto world are never the gamblers.

Really, watching the market all day is a pure waste of life. I only realized this after being drained by transaction fees.

Exactly right, those messages during the day are purely smoke screens set by the manipulators.

I only dare to make a move after 9 PM; during the day, it's just giving away money. I need to remember this.

I only dare to place orders after 9 PM; during the day, it's just sending money. I truly understand this.
