#链上应用与预测市场 Seeing Crypto.com publicly recruiting quantitative traders for prediction markets, responsible for "counter-trading" with clients to "maximize profits," I have to be honest—this is one of the most common trap patterns on the chain.

Remember those projects in the early days that claimed to offer "stable returns"? Prediction markets are essentially zero-sum games, and the platform's real purpose in hiring traders is to bet against retail investors. When officials openly say they want to "maximize profits," they are actually clearly telling you: their revenue comes from your losses.

Over the past few years, I’ve seen too many people stumble in prediction markets, and the套路 are all the same. In the beginning, they give you sweet deals to let you taste the thrill of victory. Once you invest real money, liquidity suddenly drops, and market trends become bizarre. Only then do you realize you’ve been betting against the market maker all along. What’s even more heartbreaking is that they openly recruit professionals to deal with you.

It’s not that prediction markets can’t be played, but the premise is that you must recognize: this is not investing, it’s gambling, and the other side are professional gamblers. Money management must be strict, stop-losses must be quick, and never treat prediction markets as a tool for value appreciation. It’s more important to stay away from projects that promise stable returns.

Those who have survived on the chain understand one truth: when a platform treats "betting against retail investors" as its core business and recruits accordingly, it’s time to be cautious.
