A federal judge ruled today that the lawsuit brought by Elon Musk against OpenAI can proceed to jury trial. The case centers on allegations that OpenAI abandoned its original nonprofit mission by converting into a for-profit entity. During the hearing, the judge noted there was "substantial evidence" pointing to conduct by OpenAI's leadership that warrants judicial review. This development marks a significant step in the ongoing dispute over whether the organization strayed from its founding principles during its corporate restructuring.

Haha, OpenAI is probably going to be nailed this time; the nonprofit facade is falling off so quickly.

Elon is going to court again, and this time he will finally be able to appear in court. To be honest, OpenAI's transition from non-profit to for-profit does have a bit of a "betrayal of the original intention" feel to it.

NGL, Elon Musk really seems to have caught OpenAI's handle this time. Turning from a non-profit to a for-profit is indeed quite ironic.

ngl Musk vs OpenAI, it really looks like the showdown is about to come to an end... The core issue is probably the transformation from a nonprofit to a money-making operation.

Ha, now OpenAI has to get serious. It really can't sit still with the shift from non-profit to for-profit.
