Amazon’s Zoox subsidiary has taken a different path, launching free rides around Las Vegas and San Francisco to build user adoption. The company targets paid service launch in Las Vegas by early 2026 and San Francisco later that year, but remains dependent on regulatory approvals that Waymo has already secured in multiple jurisdictions.
