Mars Finance reports that according to Jintiao, Chris Turner of ING Bank stated in a report that if the upcoming US economic data shows weak performance, the US dollar may face downward pressure. The preliminary University of Michigan February Consumer Sentiment Index will be released at 23:00 Beijing time tonight. Turner said that if the data unexpectedly declines, it could be mildly bearish for the dollar, as it would once again remind the market that consumer confidence to some extent depends on stock market performance.
