Yesterday, I caught a glimpse of Dr. Tang’s debate with the Beijing Daily about “chastity,” and it really made me laugh out loud.

Some major media outlets usually keep silent about the rampant wedding dowries and utilitarian attitudes, turning a deaf ear to Western absurdities. But as soon as someone brings up traditional bottom lines again, they all seem to be electrocuted and swarm to criticize collectively.
At my age, having seen countless people and experienced all kinds of situations, I’m used to this kind of pretext for blame.
Honestly, these overwhelming criticisms are not about discussing ideas at all. It’s clear they’re afraid that today’s young people are living too clearly, afraid that society will lose the topics that stir conflict and generate traffic.
They insist on turning healthy male-female relationships into a muddy mess, forcing the next generation into repeated struggles amid confused values. Some platforms think this is what they call “modernity.”
Who exactly is willing to tear apart the dignity left by our ancestors just for a few clicks?
