You know, there's this entrepreneur Michael Saylor who's been making waves in the crypto space for years now. Born back in 1965, he's currently in his early 60s but still running strong as executive chairman of MicroStrategy. The guy's got serious staying power in the tech world.

What's interesting about Saylor is how bullish he's become on Bitcoin over the years. He's not just casually interested—he's genuinely convinced that Bitcoin will eventually replace gold as the world's primary store-of-value. His whole thesis revolves around what he calls "capital preservation," and he likes to frame buying Bitcoin like purchasing property in a city everyone wants to move to. Pretty compelling analogy if you think about it.

He's even gone on record saying Bitcoin is "the apex property of the human race," which is a bold statement coming from someone with his background. Before getting deep into crypto, Saylor built MicroStrategy from the ground up, serving as CEO from 1989 until 2022. The guy's MIT-educated, holds over 30 patents, and even wrote a book about mobile technology back in 2012.

There's definitely a track record here—though it's worth noting he had some SEC issues back in 2000 involving financial reporting, which he settled. But that's ancient history in the crypto timeline. What matters now is that Saylor's become one of the more vocal Bitcoin advocates in the corporate world, and he's putting real conviction behind his words.
