Friend search apps, I've been trying out various ones recently, and I realized that the points you choose are quite important. Especially safety and ease of use.

Many apps are women-only. Favomatch is specialized in helping find fellow enthusiasts, making it easier to connect with people who share the same hobbies. Touch has 24-hour security monitoring and strict identity verification. DotMatch is also women-only and allows searching for people on weekends, making it easier to find someone whose schedule matches.

For men, Bumble's BFF mode allows you to find friends of the opposite sex, and it's also cheaper. Tantan is a global app, so it probably has many international users. Somli is aimed at people in their 30s to 50s and seems good for finding friends in the adult generation.

Honestly, if you want to choose a safe app, it's safest to go with one that has identity verification and some level of monitoring. Also, if you don't pick an app that matches your purpose, you might run into strange people, so be careful. Even if an app claims to be for finding friends, some also include dating features.

Recent apps are feature-rich, and many now include timeline functions that let you interact like on social media. Some also support group chats, so they’re suitable for people who want to connect with multiple people instead of just one-on-one.
