Just spent way too long researching mining rigs for 2026 lol. If you're serious about Bitcoin mining, you basically have two choices: go big with Bitmain or MicroBT. Everyone's talking about the Antminer S23 Hyd as the best crypto miner right now - 580 TH/s is insane - but that's $17k+ just sitting there. More realistic? The Antminer S21 hits a sweet spot at like $5k with 200 TH/s. Solid performance without destroying your wallet.
MicroBT's Whatsminer M63S is also a beast if you want raw power, but again, pricey. For people not trying to go full industrial, the S19 XP still holds up - yeah it's older but the price-to-performance is still pretty clean around $3.5k.
Real talk though: with BTC at 68k and difficulty constantly adjusting, you're looking at 6-12 month payback periods if everything goes right. Electricity costs are killer. Anyone actually mining right now? What's your setup?
