JPMorgan Predicts Bitcoin Could Break $266,000

Contrary to speculative narratives, JPMorgan has released an institution-based model projection. The bank estimates that Bitcoin could reach $266,000 in the long term.

This target is aimed at institutional investors such as pension funds and hedge funds, not retail investors.

The approach compares Bitcoin to gold. With an estimated private sector gold value of around $8 trillion, increased allocation to Bitcoin is seen as capable of significantly boosting prices.

Additionally, Bitcoin's volatility is now only about 1.5 times that of gold, down from previous periods. This decrease makes the asset more suitable for inclusion in institutional portfolios.

Other data shows that approximately 77% of corporate Bitcoin holdings are still in loss but have not been sold. This indicates a shift in market behavior, where selling pressure becomes more limited.
