Golden Finance reported that, according to LSEG and Kpler data, one day after Iran said Iraq could be exempted from restrictions on this key route, a tanker carrying Iraqi crude oil was found passing through the Strait of Hormuz on a route close to the Iranian coast. Kpler data showed that the “Ocean Thunder” loaded about 1 million barrels of Basra heavy crude oil on March 2, and is expected to unload in Bintulu, Malaysia, in mid-April.
