📈【My 7th day at Gate Square: From "Randomly Watching the Market" to Some Progress in Logical Trading】

These days I've been observing the market. To be honest, at the beginning, it was a typical case of "chasing gains when prices rise, panicking when they fall," and needless to say, I was basically educated out of it 😂
But over these days, I’ve gradually summarized a few of my own ideas, sharing with everyone, and also welcoming exchanges 👇
👉 1. Don’t blindly chase the rise; emotions are the biggest enemy
Many times, the upward trend has already been underway for a while, and entering at this point is actually very risky, making it easy to get caught.
👉 2. Light positions for trial and error, rather than heavy positions betting on the direction
I now mainly try with small positions first; if the direction is correct, I add more; if wrong, it won’t cause serious damage.
👉 3. Focus more on structure, less on short-term fluctuations
I used to watch 1-minute candlesticks, now I start looking at 1-hour or even 4-hour charts, and my mindset is much more stable.
👉 4. Controlling expectations is more important than making money
The market isn’t suitable for trading every day; sometimes, "losing less" is winning.
💡 The biggest realization these days:
Trading is actually a battle with oneself. Those who can control their emotions have a better chance to go further.
