I read that according to McGlone from Bloomberg, Bitcoin could crash down to $10,000 if the recession in the United States intensifies. Interesting because lately we’ve been hearing more and more talk about a possible economic contraction, and apparently Bitcoin would react quite strongly to this scenario.
The idea is that in case of a recession, high-risk assets would face heavy pressure. Considering that Bitcoin has a low beta of 1 compared to traditional markets in certain periods, it could still be dragged down by the overall panic sentiment. McGlone is essentially saying that the psychological level of $10,000 isn’t so far-fetched if things really got worse.
Personally, I find it interesting how analysts continue to monitor these macro risks. It’s not the most optimistic outlook, but it’s realistic to consider these scenarios when building your strategy. What do you think, do you really believe we could get there?
