Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 13, according to The Wall Street Journal, an American senior official revealed that the U.S. sanctions against Iran have officially taken effect, with over 15 U.S. warships deployed to support the operation. According to U.S. Navy and Central Command officials, the U.S. has deployed an aircraft carrier, several missile destroyers, an amphibious assault ship, and several other warships in the Middle East. These ships are capable of launching helicopters to support boarding inspection operations, and some can also guide commercial ships to specific areas for anchoring.

Retired Vice Admiral Kevin Donigan stated that these warships might operate outside the Strait of Hormuz to avoid Iranian fire threats. Donigan said, “There are many ways to build this operation, and there are now many boarding inspection forces in the region. Don’t expect all actions to unfold immediately at once; it will be a gradual process. The blockade takes time to produce results.”(Jin10)
