"I have money, but I can't fill my entire position."
This might be the most surreal complaint I've seen in the community recently.
Last night, while lurking, I saw a few big players complaining: "I have BNB, why doesn't the project team let me sweep the floor directly?"
Honestly, my first reaction was: isn't this project... not trying to make money?
Until I carefully reviewed the rules of @RealGoOfficial's Genesis Mini Harvester, I realized this isn't about restricting your purchase; it's about screening people.
1. It's not a purchase limit; it's a filter
The rules are simple:
- Reservation users: up to 15 units
- Non-reservation users: up to 10 units
- Fully open afterward
Many people's first reaction is: hunger marketing.
But if you've experienced the previous cycle, you should have seen another scenario:
- Whales sweep everything
- TVL hits the max
- Retail investors buy in
- And then... chaos ensues
#RealGo did something quite unconventional—voluntarily gave up short-term seemingly good data.
By gradually reducing from 15 to 10, they fragmented large funds, allowing the chips to slowly fall into the hands of more genuine players.
This isn't about restricting liquidity; it's about cooling down liquidity.
2. The numbers 15 and 10 are essentially about pricing behavior
Many ask: why 15? why 10?
The answer is straightforward: it's not about money, but about participation.
- 15 units are for early followers and early reservations
- 10 units are for those who understand the rules later
How much you can get depends not on how fat your wallet is, but on how early and seriously you entered this game.
In other words:
This is about handing over the production rights to those willing to stay.
3. The real threshold isn't on-chain; it's in reality
If you only see it as an on-chain asset, you might be overlooking something.
- April 18th, Seoul offline event (YGG takeover)
- Plus recent actions like precisely sending 10 USDT to genuine players
You'll notice a clear signal:
RealGo is screening active participants.
Because once gameplay involves:
- LBS (location-based services)
- AR (augmented reality interactions)
Scripts and studios will be naturally weakened. And this purchase limit mechanism is actually the first layer of screening:
- Keep out those only interested in arbitrage
- Retain those willing to participate
4. The real opportunity lies in being restricted
Many are now tangled up in: "Why can I only buy 10 units?"
But from another perspective:
Without this restriction, you might not be able to buy even one.
And more importantly, when the Rental System and PVP open later:
- New players will flood in
- Production capacity will become scarce
- Demand will start seeking supply
And those machines you currently hold, protected by the purchase limit, might actually be your real chips.
5. In conclusion
Money in the market's peak phase comes quickly.
But those who can stay are never just about money.
@RealGoOfficial's move, I prefer to see it as: when hot money is at its most excited, giving this market a brake.
It's not about blocking your profits,
but about making this cycle last longer,
so it doesn't end so quickly.
If you had to choose just one, which would you pick?
- 15 units, but requires earlier awareness
- 10 units, but you can participate now
I'm curious about everyone's true choice.
