Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 14, according to The Block, Visa, Stripe, and Zodia Custody supported by Standard Chartered Bank have become the first validators of the Tempo payment blockchain.

Tempo is a Layer 1 blockchain compatible with Ethereum, designed for high-throughput payments and stablecoin settlement, mainly targeting large institutions. Validators are responsible for verifying, ordering, and finalizing on-chain transactions, typically performed by mature institutions with global operational capabilities. Tempo was incubated by Stripe and Paradigm, launched its private testnet in September 2025, and completed a $500 million Series A funding round at a valuation of approximately $5 billion in October. Recently, Tempo introduced an “agent payment” protocol executed by AI agents and attracted infrastructure integrations such as RedStone.
