#BTS PANews reported on April 12 that decentralized finance (DeFi) platform Al_a Protocol announced that the Ethereum Foundation has merged its proposed ERC-7621 token standard into the draft standard state. The innovation of the ERC-7621 standard is the introduction of the Basket Token Standard (BTS), which allows for the creation of composite tokens containing multiple underlying ERC-20 tokens. In addition, ERC-7621 introduces fungible BTS LP tokens that can be used in various DeFi applications, which represent the shares in the basket and can be minted and burned in real-time according to the fund's asset movements, maintaining consistency with the fund's dynamics. The standard also enables the automatic allocation of management fees and facilitates portfolio adjustments, thereby simplifying the fund management process.
