If this is true, it would be an earthquake for crypto. The biggest obstacle to Bitcoin becoming a reserve currency might not be politicians but Ripple itself. Ripple $XRP is reportedly aiming to create a central bank digital currency (CBDC) a digital dollar on its own network.
I hope this isn’t true because Ripple would destroy itself with such a move. Bitcoin is the only true standard.
What do you think? Has anyone heard anything about this?
