PANews 27. November Nachrichten, berichtet von The Hacker News, dass die Ransomware-Gruppe Qilin durch den Hack eines koreanischen IT-Dienstleisters GJTec einen “Korean Leaks” Lieferkettenangriff gestartet hat, der 28 Finanzunternehmen betroffen hat und über 1 Million Dateien mit insgesamt 2 TB Daten gestohlen wurden. Bitdefender hat herausgefunden, dass diese Aktion mit dem nordkoreanischen Hintergrund-APT “Moonstone Sleet” in Verbindung steht und vermutet, dass sie mit der russischsprachigen Qilin-Organisation zusammenarbeitet, um Druck auf den koreanischen Finanzmarkt auszuüben.
