Februar: Hongkong wird in diesem Jahr eine neue Plattform für digitale Vermögenswerte einrichten, die die Ausgabe und Abwicklung tokenisierter Anleihen unterstützt und schrittweise auf andere Kategorien digitaler Vermögenswerte ausgeweitet wird. Hongkongs Finanzminister Paul Chan erklärte im Haushaltsplan für 2026–27, dass die Plattform von der CMU OmniClear Holdings unter der Hongkonger Finanzverwaltung (HKMA) gebaut wird und mit anderen tokenisierten Plattformen in der Region vernetzt wird, um Hongkongs Position als Knotenpunkt im Bereich digitaler Vermögenswerte zu stärken.
Derzeit hat Hongkong mehrere Chargen tokenisierter Staatsanleihen ausgegeben. Chan Mow Po verriet, dass im vierten Quartal 2025 die dritte Charge tokenisierter Staatsanleihen mit einem Gesamtvolumen von 10 Milliarden Hongkong-Dollar (ca. 1,28 Milliarden US-Dollar) ausgegeben wurde, und die regelmäßige Ausgabe wird fortgesetzt. Diese Infrastrukturaufwertung bedeutet, dass die Abwicklung tokenisierter Anleihen offiziell in das Nachhandelssystem der Hongkonger Geldbehörde integriert wird, was den Übergang vom Pilotstadium zu einer systematischen Integration markiert.
Zudem hat die Hongkonger Wertpapier- und Futures-Kommission (SFC) zuvor lizenzierten Brokerfirmen erlaubt, professionelle Investoren mit digitalen Vermögenswerten garantiefinanzierte Kredite und perpetual Contracts anzubieten. Die Regulierungsbehörde betonte, dass die Marktliquidität unter der Voraussetzung einer verstärkten Risikokontrolle erhöht werden soll. Insgesamt zeigt die politische Ausrichtung, dass Hongkong die Tokenisierung und die Infrastruktur digitaler Vermögenswerte in den Kernrahmen des Mainstream-Finanzsystems integriert.
