Domestic gas station prices continue to decline overall, with gasoline and diesel both fluctuating in the mid-1830s won per liter range. According to Opinet, the Korea National Oil Corporation, the national average gasoline price is 1,838.62 won per liter, and diesel is 1,839.31 won per liter. Most regions have seen both gasoline and diesel prices decrease, except for Seoul, where diesel prices rose by 0.48 won to 1,853.31 won per liter, showing a limited rebound.

Regionally, Seoul has the highest gasoline price at 1,864.01 won per liter, followed by Jeju at 1,860.44 won, both over 20 won above the national average. Conversely, Daejeon has the lowest price at 1,809.54 won per liter. The price gap between Seoul and Daejeon is about 54.47 won per liter. For diesel, Jeju also has the highest at 1,874.79 won, while Daejeon has the lowest at 1,808.42 won, with a difference of approximately 66 won.

In regional terms, Seoul (1,864.01 won) in the capital area is significantly above the average, while Gyeonggi Province (1,838.14 won) and Incheon (1,826.25 won) fluctuate around the national average. In the Chungcheong region, Daejeon (1,809.54 won), Sejong (1,825.77 won), North Chungcheong (1,848.25 won), and South Chungcheong (1,855.70 won) show larger regional differences, with Daejeon at the lowest nationwide. In the Yeongnam region, Gyeongsangnam-do (1,839.69 won), Gyeongsangbuk-do (1,836.01 won), Daegu (1,822.00 won), and Ulsan (1,825.28 won) mostly stay below the national average. In Honam, Jeollabuk-do (1,835.33 won), Jeollanam-do (1,837.81 won), and Gwangju (1,815.58 won) continue to hover around 1,830 won with slight weakness.

The gap with international product prices persists. Recently, international benchmark prices remain at 1,901.60 won per liter for gasoline and 1,924.45 won for diesel, about 63 won and 85 won higher than domestic averages, respectively. Although domestic retail prices are still relatively low compared to international prices, the recent synchronized decline across regions suggests limited short-term upward pressure on domestic gas station prices.

Overall, gasoline and diesel prices have decreased by 1-3 won in most areas, continuing a weak consolidation trend. Except for some high-price regions like the capital area and Jeju, the stability zone below 1,830 won per liter has expanded.
