I saw someone shouting, “The whales are entering—follow quickly!” and my first reaction isn’t excitement; it’s thinking: Are they building a position, or hedging… The same address could be buying spot in one place while opening shorts elsewhere. On the surface, it looks like “bottom fishing,” but honestly it might just be shifting risk around. And those on-chain data tools and tagging systems that have been getting criticized lately for being laggy or even misleading—whipping out a screenshot and treating it like scripture is pretty wild, too.

I’ve been staring at the order book/chart until my eyes hurt and my neck goes stiff. In any case, before I copy trades, I’ll wait and see whether they add more, whether any orders get canceled, and whether the funds are really moving in and out—like it’s just going through the motions. Be steadier; if I miss out, then I miss out—at least I shouldn’t become someone else’s hedging leg.
