Crypto.com news: an anonymous crypto whale has sued Coinbase, claiming the exchange refused to return the frozen funds related to the 2024 theft incident. The disclosed details are similar to a crypto theft case in August 2024, when a whale reportedly lost about $55 million worth of DAI. The lawsuit says investigators traced the stolen DAI flowing into Coinbase’s retail accounts. Coinbase froze the funds, but is alleged to have refused to release them without a court order confirming ownership.
