According to the Arbitrum governance forum, the platform's Security Council initiated a non-emergency governance action this week to correct a Delegated Voting Power (DVP) discrepancy in the ARB token contract. The recorded total DVP was approximately 51.17 million ARB higher than the actual amount, stemming from initial initialization estimates. The correction does not alter individual ARB balances, change delegation distributions, or require user action—it adjusts only the recorded aggregate total used by the contract. Execution is expected to take approximately 14 days, giving the community time to review the proposal.
