Augustus raised $180 million in Series B funding at a $1 billion valuation, according to the company announcement. The round was led by Tiger Global, with participation from Hummingbird, QED, and founders of Nubank, Ramp, Circle, and Deel. Other investors include Balaji Srinivasan, Soma Capital, Brevan Howard Digital, and Variant. The financing brings the company's total capital to $210 million.

Augustus plans to use the funds to expand services across Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The federally chartered national bank positions itself as a "Global Dollar Bank," offering international fintechs and banks API-based access to USD accounts and payment services. The platform combines traditional payment rails including Swift, ACH, and SEPA with stablecoin settlement capabilities, aiming to modernize cross-border dollar access for financial firms outside the U.S.
