Crypto Market Sees $167M in Liquidations in Past 24 Hours, 55,537 Traders Hit

According to ChainCatcher citing Coinglass data, the crypto market saw $167 million in liquidations in the past 24 hours, with long liquidations at $95.73 million and short liquidations at $71.70 million. Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $18.36 million while short liquidations reached $11.35 million; Ethereum long liquidations stood at $16.27 million and short liquidations at $22.54 million.

Over the same period, 55,537 traders were liquidated across the market. The largest single liquidation event occurred on Binance ETHUSDC pair, worth $4.485 million.
