Foreign ownership in KOSDAQ expanded by 4 percentage points, reaching 12.02% by late July—the highest level in seven years.
Foreign investors showed selective buying discipline, accumulating stakes in semiconductor supply chain companies including ISC (increased ownership by 11.15 percentage points despite 45.62% stock decline) and 이오테크닉스 (8.60 percentage point increase despite 37.16% price drop). Concurrently, they trimmed positions in outperforming equipment makers like 주성엔지니어링, where stock prices had risen 11.37% while foreign ownership fell 6.41 percentage points.
