According to Yahoo Finance, General Motors raised its full-year earnings guidance on July 21, boosting adjusted earnings per share to $12-14 from a prior range of $11.50-13.50, and free cash flow to $9.5-11.5 billion from $9-11 billion.

Despite increased DRAM costs of $1.5-2 billion (up from $1-1.5 billion at year-start), General Motors offset the pressure through cost reductions and truck pricing strategies, allowing the automaker to achieve its elevated guidance.
