Global PE Fund Entrada Named Preferred Bidder for TaylorMade, KRW 3-4 Trillion Deal on July 27

According to South Korea's investment banking industry, global private equity fund Entrada was named the preferred bidding partner (우협) for TaylorMade's acquisition on July 27. Entrada has formed a consortium with American sports magnate Dave Checketts, the founder and former owner of MLS club Real Salt Lake. The acquisition is valued at an estimated KRW 3-4 trillion (approximately $2.3-3.1 billion). As the preferred bidder, Entrada must submit a letter of commitment (LOC) by August to maintain its position.
