Golders Green Stabbing Declared Terrorist Incident as Group Claims Responsibility; 45-Year-Old Arrested

According to Counter Terrorism Police, two Jewish men aged 76 and 34 were stabbed in Golders Green, London on April 29 around 11:16am, with the incident formally declared a terrorist attack. A 45-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene after being tasered by police. Three patients were treated, with two hospitalized.

Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia, commonly known as Ashab al-Yamin, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The group has claimed credit for attacks against Jewish schools, synagogues and charities in Europe, as well as American, Israeli and Iranian opposition targets since March 2026, according to Counter Terrorism Police.
