Grayscale Solana Staking ETF (GSOL) will introduce quarterly cash distributions from staking rewards, according to a prospectus supplement filed on July 17. The change is expected to take effect around August 7, 2026. Under the new structure, GSOL will convert staking rewards to cash at least quarterly and distribute net proceeds to shareholders after expenses and fees.
The move follows Grayscale's Ethereum staking product (ETHE), which began making quarterly distributions in January 2026. ETHE distributed approximately $14.39 million in aggregate first-quarter payouts (about $0.129898 per share), with additional distributions totaling $2.39 million in April. Grayscale also reduced GSOL's sponsor fee from 0.35% to 0.19% and cut its staking fee from 23% to 7% of gross staking consideration, effective June 25.
