The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,210 on July 23, gaining 318 points or 1.3%, with total market turnover exceeding 230 billion Hong Kong dollars. Traditional stocks including Zijin Mining (02899), China Hongqiao Group (01378), Lenovo Group (00992), and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388) all entered the top 20 mainboard stocks by trading volume. Meanwhile, semiconductor and AI-related stocks such as SMIC (00981), Hua Hong Semiconductor (01347), Zhipu (02513), GigaDevice (03986), and Fiberhome Telecommunication (06869)—which had dominated trading lists in recent months—also appeared in the top 20 but closed lower.
