According to Xinhua Finance, on September 8, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China's Chengdu branch approved the province's first "token-computing power" loan to a high-tech enterprise in Chengdu High-Tech Zone. The lender incorporated AI computing consumption and token acquisition costs into credit evaluation for the first time. The loan, backed by computing power invoices, token call logs, computing service contracts, and receivables, is designated for large language model API fees and computing power rental, addressing cash flow mismatches typical in AI infrastructure businesses.
