Iran Refuses to Launch Final Agreement Negotiations if Threats Continue, FM Araghchi Says on July 7

According to Yonhapinfomax, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated on July 7 (local time) via social media that Iran will not initiate negotiations for a final agreement if external threats persist. Araghchi stated that Article 13 of the memorandum of understanding is clear: if threats continue, negotiations for a final agreement will not commence. The MOU specifies that negotiations for a final agreement will begin once Articles 4, 5, 10, and 11 are implemented, covering maritime blockade lifting, mine removal, export sanctions exemptions, and asset unfreezing.
