Kim Jong Un Inspects Military Industrial Enterprises on May 11

According to Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un inspected military industrial enterprises on May 11 to assess ammunition production for the first half of 2026. During the visit, Kim reviewed production at ammunition factories and outlined plans to establish production systems for various caliber precision munitions and training rounds. He also called for strengthening mortar and howitzer capabilities and proposed building specialized artillery weapon production complexes and firearms factories to meet the long-term needs of North Korea's armed forces.
