According to Xinhua News Agency, on July 25, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation signed a $16 billion agreement with a consortium of international investors including Blackstone, Brookfield Asset Management, and KKR to develop Kuwait's crude oil pipeline infrastructure. Kuwait Petroleum will establish a joint venture holding 51% stake while retaining operational control. The agreement grants usage rights to 13 domestic crude oil export pipelines.
