According to The Block, on July 23, LayerZero and Keeta announced a partnership to enable cross-chain interoperability of tokenized commercial bank deposits across Ethereum, Solana, Base, and the Keeta network. Keeta stablecoin represents actual commercial bank deposits sourced from partner banks and traded via Bivo, a U.S.-licensed fintech platform with access to American payment systems. Unlike traditional stablecoins relying on multiple reserves, Keeta retains full contract authority across chains using LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard.

Keeta stablecoin will launch in USD later this month, with planned expansion to EUR, JPY, CNY, GBP, CAD, MXN, AED, and HKD.
