Moonshot AI Seeks Hong Kong IPO Within Six Months, Targeting $30B Valuation After Kimi K3 Launch

According to Bloomberg, Moonshot AI sought shareholder approval on July 19 for a Hong Kong initial public offering that could occur within six months. The Beijing-based AI startup is completing a funding round expected to value the company at more than US$30 billion, a 50% increase from the US$20 billion valuation in its May financing round. The valuation increase follows the launch of Kimi K3, which Moonshot described as a 3-trillion-parameter open-weight model with a 1-million-token context window. The company plans to unwind its red-chip structure ahead of the listing.
