Skylabs Doubles on IPO Day, Hits Trading Limits for 2 Consecutive Days

According to Korea Exchange, Skylabs, a healthcare data company, listed on September 4 and surged to double its IPO price on the first trading day, then hit the daily trading limit on the following session, achieving two consecutive limit-up closes. The strong performance stands in stark contrast to the company's weak public offering period. During the subscription phase on August 26-27, Skylabs recorded a participation rate of just 2.9:1, marking the lowest of the year, with escrow funds totaling only 7.1 billion won. Institutional demand was also lackluster, with 246 participants showing a 63.41:1 competition ratio, but mandatory lock-up commitments accounting for just 0.17% by quantity.
