According to the Associated Press, the U.S. military launched strikes on Iran on July 19 for the eighth consecutive night, with escalating military exchanges between both sides. Iran's Health Ministry reported that U.S. strikes have caused at least 50 deaths and 500 injuries since June 27. According to the New York Times, the Iranian strikes on U.S. military bases in Jordan resulted in multiple damaged helicopters and dozens of injured American personnel. U.S. officials reported two American soldiers killed in Jordan and one missing, while Iran claimed it successfully struck military targets in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
