Recently, I found that the differences in fee structures among some exchanges are quite noticeable, especially platforms that put effort into fees can save a lot on costs. If the fees are stable, the improvement in trading experience is obvious—lower transaction costs naturally lead to increased trading volume, and open interest (OI) also rises, and finally various points and rebates are in place accordingly. Once this virtuous cycle is formed, the returns for users become relatively stable. It seems that optimizing the fee structure is indeed helpful for enhancing the competitiveness of exchanges.
