The fee switch proposal for a certain DEX protocol has officially been implemented, marking a new stage for the ecosystem. From the perspective of LP Liquidity, retaining existing top participants should not be a major issue. But the real challenge lies in the rise — that's the pain point.

The number of L1 ecosystems is shrinking year by year, and the growth space for cross-chain deployment is extremely limited. Moreover, every new chain wants to create its own DEX, resulting in a clear siphoning effect. What's more challenging is that competitors are also eyeing the market, and the pressure is quite significant. From this perspective, the dividend period for L1 has basically come to an end.

The true breakthrough for growth may still depend on whether the newly launched chain ecosystem can open up the situation. This is key to whether a curve overtaking can be achieved next.

The fee switch landing can't change the big picture either; the traffic on L1 is simply not enough to watch. --- Relying on a new chain to save the day again? Feels like this trick is a bit old now. --- Basically, the growth ceiling is stuck, and there's no more hustle. --- Keeping top LPs? Laughable. They've already been thinking about which chain to jump to. --- Every chain is building its own DEX, and in the end, everyone will fail together. Who came up with this logic? --- Overtaking on a bend? You probably need to survive until that bend first. --- Liquidity stabilizes, but what's the use? Without new growth, this thing will cool off sooner or later.

The fee switch has been implemented, but that's far from enough. The problems are still ahead. It's not difficult to retain top LPs, the challenge is that no one is entering the market. L1 is indeed saturated, and this wave feels a bit like a bottleneck. If the new chain ecosystem can't open up, it's all over, and the pressure is significant.

The growth problem is indeed heart-wrenching; the L1 bonus is gone. --- It's all about the fee switch and the new ecosystem. Can this actually save this area? 🤷 --- To put it bluntly, it's just serious internal competition; every chain wants to have its own set. --- If we can't break out, we'll eventually be eaten by new chains. --- How could top LPs possibly stay for real? If the returns aren't good, they'll still run away. --- Overtaking on a curve? That's a joke; there are plenty of latecomers. --- Instead of waiting for new chains, it's better to see who can survive to the end. --- What's the use of keeping liquidity if there's no growth? It's just a slow death. --- The phrase "competitors are eyeing us" is interesting; we're all competing against each other. --- To be honest, entering the new chain ecosystem now is also quite risky.
