Bitcoin supply end emergence opportunity, Layer 2 rises rapidly to seize the ecological high ground

Scarcity is a certainty, but the market is still searching for direction

As the total mined supply of Bitcoin approaches 19.95 million coins, the remaining available mining quota is less than 1.05 million coins. This digital asset, once considered infinitely supply, has officially entered an era of scarcity. The halving mechanism in April 2024 has reduced the daily new issuance from 900 to 450 coins, with the final coin expected to be mined by 2140.

However, paradoxically, this scarcity has not immediately driven prices higher. Bitcoin has fallen from a high of $115,000 to the current $87.68K. Technical indicators show ABCD patterns and a rising wedge breakdown warning, with RSI approaching 28, indicating oversold conditions. Some analysts predict that Bitcoin needs to stabilize above $96,000 to reverse the downward trend, while more aggressive voices call for a target of $220,000. Meanwhile, institutional funds experienced a net outflow of $1.2 billion in the first week of November, intensifying market divergence.

Technological innovation becomes the breakthrough, Layer2 projects rise on the trend

While Bitcoin enters consolidation, Layer2 solutions built on the Solana virtual machine—such as Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER)—have become focal points for capital. The core significance of this technological innovation lies in transforming Bitcoin from a passive “digital gold” into a programmable active asset through a non-custodial bridging system.

Bitcoin Hyper’s presale has attracted over $28 million in investments, with a maximum single subscription of $490,000, reflecting strong market demand for Bitcoin’s programmable applications. The current presale price is $0.12, with an automatic three-day price increase mechanism. Leveraging Solana’s high-performance infrastructure, the project achieves transaction confirmation in seconds and significantly reduces transaction fees, opening new application spaces for Bitcoin in DeFi, gaming, and NFTs.

Scarcity meets ecological prosperity, investors face dual choices

The combination of supply contraction and technological breakthroughs presents investors with differentiated participation paths.

Conservative strategies focus on technical reversals of Bitcoin itself. If hammer or bullish engulfing patterns appear in the $74,500–$83,800 range, investors can consider phased entries, but must remain cautious of further systemic risks.

Aggressive strategies target early benefits from the Layer2 ecosystem. Bitcoin Hyper has passed security audits, with mainnet launch scheduled for Q4 2025. Its annual staking yield is approximately 41%, far exceeding traditional financial products. However, liquidity of presale tokens is limited, and the mainnet development progress carries uncertainties, requiring investors to have strong risk tolerance.

The era of Bitcoin scarcity has begun, but the real investment opportunity lies in recognizing that price volatility will eventually give way to application innovation. Layer2 solutions like Bitcoin Hyper are redefining Bitcoin’s value boundaries, and this wave of technological innovation could become the most pivotal market theme in 2025.
