#资产代币化 Wow, I just saw the news that the SEC approved DTCC to custody tokenized assets on-chain, and I’m a bit stunned? 🤔

Traditional stocks, bonds, and government securities can actually be moved onto the blockchain? And it’s officially recognized by the U.S. government? I used to think tokenization was just a gimmick for some small projects, but I didn’t expect even such legitimate assets to start embracing blockchain.

I heard that DTCC is the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation in the U.S., basically the "big housekeeper" of the financial industry. They received permission for a "No Action Letter" (is this the official endorsement from regulators?), allowing them to custody real assets like Russell 1000 component stocks, ETFs, and U.S. Treasuries on approved blockchains. The plan is to launch in the second half of 2026, with a three-year trial period.

What I really want to know now is, does this have any practical significance for us ordinary people? Will buying stocks become as easy as trading cryptocurrencies in the future? Or is this just a matter for institutions, with little relevance to retail investors? It feels like there might be huge opportunities for the integration of traditional finance and blockchain behind this, but I’m still a bit unclear on how to get involved. Can any experts explain?
