Recently, the square scams have been heating up again, especially targeting BNB and LUNC holders. As an investor who has been in this circle for six years, I really don't want to see any friends like me fall before dawn.
First, let's talk about the most common scam tactics:
"Follow me and reply with XX coin, and I will give away 5000" — this kind of promise is 99% bait.
"Click the link to receive holiday gifts" — sounds tempting, but it's actually a trap.
"Some exchange launches a refund compensation" — this is completely nonexistent.
Seeing these things, my first reaction is to report them. Don't overthink it.
Their tricks are actually just a few types: one is tricking you into signing malicious contracts through links, instantly transferring your USDT from your account; another is giving you small rewards to relax your guard, then inducing you to deposit more, and then disappearing; the last is mass-producing fake interactions to try to manipulate the platform's recommendation algorithm.
In this market, protecting your principal is much more important than chasing 100x returns. Scammers also need to boost their performance, so we must keep our eyes wide open. If you find these reminders helpful, share them with your crypto friends. The more people see, the fewer will fall into the trap.
