Between year and year, the market is still open

Today is a trading day that is rarely taken seriously.
Christmas has passed, and the New Year has not yet arrived,
The market is caught between two holidays,
Like a track still in motion, but almost unnoticed.

A few days before the New Year, the market will continue to open.
Prices are still fluctuating, K-lines are still forming,
But the number of active participants has already noticeably decreased.

This is a dangerous, yet extremely important period.

The danger lies in:
Liquidity beginning to thin out,
Sentiment starting to distort,
Many fluctuations are not driven by trends, but by “vacancies.”

The importance lies in:
The market at this time is most likely to reveal its true structure.

Livermore has always reminded:
When most people are out,
Every move in price gets closer to the true intention,
Rather than a performance.

In these days, the market does not reward aggression.
Any desire to “do a little more” at the end of the year
Often stems from a mistaken mindset:
Should I leave something behind this year?

But the market does not remember the year,
It only remembers whether you followed the rules.

Smart traders do very little at this stage:
They observe,
Record,
Review the truly valuable decisions made throughout the year,
Rather than obsess over the last few K-lines.

Because they know—
The account’s curve is not built through a year-end sprint,
But through the first wave of trend realization in the next year.

These days,
Are not for proving whether you earned enough this year,
But for confirming one thing:
Whether you can still stay patient, restrained, and respectful in a low-noise market.

The market is still open,
But it is not inviting everyone in.

It is only screening for those
Who can remain calm during the “quiet period”
And not make reckless moves.
